5 THE COMMUNITY FILTER
Demonstrating how to collect personal or tagged observations.

This is best as a FILTER not a PROJECT

so I have added a few easy-going screenshots showing how to collect personal, or tagged Observations.
Filters are very powerful and can be saved for extended use.
.
Whilst THIS is a Demonstration Project, a Filter will work just as well, producing a Map, List and Gallery. All filters can be saved to later use, ammended or deleted
.
SO-

♦ On the HOME Page, click
♦ Explore Community/Gallery
♦ Next click Filter Observations
♦ Fill in as FEW as necessary and click apply
♦ If it's not refined enough, click Community Filter and change parameters.
♦ When you are happy Save Filter.
♦ Filters are stored in your Profile.
♦ Community Filters can be edited, enhanced or deleted
.

This is a DEMONSTRATION PROJECT but with Guidance for the use of the Community Filter.
IF you are not certain how to build a project, first PLEASE practise with Community Filters.
If you construct a Project, PLEASE update it frequently.
Projects that are no longer in use should be deleted.
.

To delete a project
Click on your user name, Your iSpot and then Projects
Deletion is an easy option.
.

EVERYONE SHOULD DO THIS
Click Explore Community/Gallery
Click 'Without a Likely ID'
Enter your OWN user name
and see what transpires
.
Observations without an ID are worth very little in iSpot.
They are not seen in Other Observations or Galleries or Searches.
If older than a month, THEY best be deleted, reviewed, enhanced and reposted.

Deletion is not as easy as it sounds, so I will add the route here IF someone should ask
