The first Species Spolight was for anamita and gathered 155 Reads in a few days
SEE - https://www.ispotnature.org/communities/uk-and-ireland/view/project/795587/ (it may no longer exist)
This Project has 624 observations and may best be browsed from here -
Clicking on, say Russula emetica, then Observations means you can specialise for a while, add an agreement or a comment perhaps even a counter-ID.
If you want to see ALL of one Species, do this -
⭐ In iSpot's home page, click Explore Gallery or List
⭐ Then Filter Community Observations
⭐ Then add your chosen species (Say Russula parazurea)
⭐ Click Apply
A delightful bit of Miscoding here (Species Browser)
I have learned quite a bit just by reading comments, but they are few and far between.
And some interesting things emerge
✳️There are 47 species observed (out of 216 Species available)
✳️ There are at least 50 IDd to genus only - I do not know a way to list them all, but the first 50 appear in Other Obs of any Genus-only observation
✳️R. ochroleuca has 40
✳️R.emetica has 27 - now DOWN to 19 because there were doubts
✳️The next most common is R. nobilis with 31 observations
There appears to be no Vars. Or Aggs
Plenty of species have only 1 Observation - some are/were doubtful
I have reviewed those here, so they need looking over - PLEASE?
