The project aims to record the diversity of species during the re-wilding of a former 18 hole mini-golf. Much of the funding and practical construction has been undertaken by the Park's Ranger Team. The ponds were dug out by a specialist digger operative. Further work is being undertaken to deepen and construct a raised wet weather walkway is underway now. The lower section (towards the sea) is being turned into scrapes. The area will be reseeded early next year. A raised walkway is being constructed to pass over areas that become from time to time flooded to allow better access to the sea front.
