Clearing OUT the overloaded Fungi and Lichens Project

. here https://www.ispotnature.org/communities/uk-and-ireland/view/project/793239/
.
That project carries mostly elderly Observations that have almost sunk without trace - abandoned and ignored for years.
.
.
In this Collection, the designation Agaricomycetidae has been used to separate out those Observations which show promise for a better ID (all of them begin with NO ID).
.
If you come to this Collection, the concept is simple - add an ID or a comment. Once a better ID is added, Agaricomycetidae will be overridden but a new ID may require the Likely Banner to be shifted - I will help that.
Once an ID is added they will disappear from the Second Chance project and Changes flags will get sent out to anyone who has contributed, the User or anyone who has commented. DON'T hold your breath for a response!
.

I DO think we have to work on instinct in some of these

.
The instincts of high iconners is specially valuable. But we need to move on, even from this project, so I am keen to keep it highly dynamic (updated regularly) and eventually contain up-to-date (month old) observations which need a Second Chance.
See then my low-level instincts https://www.ispotnature.org/communities/uk-and-ireland/view/observation/79411/
.
.

PLEASE assist in building and reducing this Collection but there are some rules

-
.
• Work ONLY from the Original Project above. I will keep it up to date and change the filter-dates regularly.
.
• Look for comments before you plunge in, they can be usefeul like in HERE https://www.ispotnature.org/communities/uk-and-ireland/view/observation/34060/ and https://www.ispotnature.org/communities/uk-and-ireland/view/observation/31967/
.
• If you can add a reasonable ID (might be this) PLEASE do it but leave a note in description
.
• If it is obviously not IDable to a fair level, then consider Agaricales (or say Boletales or Polyporales.) like here https://www.ispotnature.org/communities/uk-and-ireland/view/observation/32950/ Don't fret too much - the idea is to get an ID
.
• Use any suitable High-taxa ID but the worse case scenario is Fungi - like here https://www.ispotnature.org/communities/uk-and-ireland/view/observation/32339/
or https://www.ispotnature.org/communities/uk-and-ireland/view/observation/35071/
.
• If you consider an observation 'impossible' , then say so in a comment.
.
• Ignore blanks (no Pictures) - they will all be deleted after due consideration.
.
• If you think there is a chance of a good ID, say from the pictures or description, add the ID Agaricomycetidae.
.
.
You are allowed to ignore Lichens - eventually ONLY lichens will be left in the Original Project
