.
There is an issue with spelling Myxogastria or Myxogastrea
Google favours Myxogastria, disfavours Myxogastrea. iSpot is tuther way' round.
.
In iSpotZA all the Slimes are MyxogastRIA (and grouped Other Organisms)
https://www.ispotnature.org/communities/southern-africa/species-dictionary/199330/myxogastria
.
Despite the record here, Slime Moulds, in general are never going to be easy to ID to species, as almost all require either an expert opinion or evidence from Microscopy.
.
There WERE 9 Observations of Myxogastria in the UK Community. NONE in the Collection as most have been fixed by shifting the banner
.
736 MyxogastREA
Amoebozoa has 769
But where the ID is specifically Amoebozoa, they become Other Organisms and yet are still collected as Slime Moulds.
.
In the Amoebozoa are the Protostelea - they may not strictly be slime moulds.
See a gorgeous one (of 33) here https://www.ispotnature.org/communities/uk-and-ireland/view/observation/682518/unidentified-slime-mould
Wiki says https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Protosteliales

Confused?

.

MYXOMYCETES IS INVALID IN iSPOT

.
There were about 122 observations of MYXOMYCETES which needed a Banner Shift.
They have ALL been brought into the Project via a change to MYXOGASTREA and extra agreements to those at Species level
I have left the link here because new observations may come (it should be empty)
https://www.ispotnature.org/communities/uk-and-ireland/species-dictionary/NHMSYS0001490487/myxomycetes/observations
.
The next branch above in the Tree (Amoebozoa) collects all the 44 (or 33) Protostelea (which are not Myxogastrea) hence my project Filter

This below is a VERY nice sub collection - please look

https://www.ispotnature.org/communities/uk-and-ireland/species-dictionary/NHMSYS0020959511/protostelea/observations
.
.
And so there might be a total of 1100 Slime-mould observations in iSpot. Can we bring them all together? We began with 870.
.

Our rich Sister-site has over 24 THOUSAND World Observations (214 Species)

.
Over 2 000 in Europe https://www.inaturalist.org/observations?place_id=97391&subview=grid&taxon_id=47684
They MUST be worth a browse

iSPOT'S SLIME BROWSER https://www.ispotnature.org/communities/uk-and-ireland/species-browser/group/slime-moulds - appalling!
.
Does iSpot favour WORMS over SLIMES? https://www.ispotnature.org/communities/uk-and-ireland/species-browser/group/worms oh yes!
.
WIKI - "Myxogastria/Myxogastrea (myxogastrids, ICZN) or Myxomycetes (ICBN),[1] is a class of slime molds that contains 5 orders, 14 families, 62 genera and 888 species. They are colloquially known as the plasmodial or acellular slime moulds."
.
"Analysis of DNA sequences has now shown clearly that all these groups are evolutionarily distinct from one another, and also distinct from the fungi."
And so they can be regarded as separate kingdoms of organisms
