Updated 20 March 2019
Running as a partner to. https://www.ispotnature.org/communities/uk-and-ireland/view/project/770782/uk-invertebrates-without-id
.
This shows ALL the Unidentified Invertebrates in the UK but more are being added every week
.
It began with well over eleven thousand and has been reduced to 5390 since September 2018.
.
Please add an ID to any of them, this should be the Lowest taxa possible (Sub-species) to the highest necessary (Arthropoda) but READ any comments.
It is OK to add TWO IDs. with one as least likely but possible, as the first, then a higher one as second - the second one gets the Likely Banner.
EXAMPLE - https://www.ispotnature.org/communities/uk-and-ireland/view/observation/22618/weevil
.
It is NICE to find useful comments when wading through these so, if nothing else PLEASE suggest that it might be impossible or could be a Mason Bee, for example.
.
I will keep this description up to date as often as I can - it's all quite time consuming.
.
PLEASE use the forum for questions and comments - perhaps here https://forum.ispotnature.org/t/high-taxonomy-ids/713/10.
.
