There is so much life in gardens, more than usually noticed, which is why I'm starting this project. Experienced gardeners hold more wisdom than they actually know, so if they enjoy this project their minds will open out and flood the community with the hidden knowledge (a bit dramatic, I know)!

The same rules apply, contribution to the project will be invitation only for now.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What am I looking for in observations?

  • Good, illustrative photos.
  • An interesting topic.
  • A complete description.
  • An interesting comment trail, with good contributions and lots of information and opinions.
  • An unusual topic, e.g. a seastar mutant!

I think recording as many species as possible in your garden is an excellent idea. It is something that I do often (I have 212 excluding plants and fungi) and some people are very good at it. Take bramblejungle's blog for example: https://bramblejungle.wordpress.com/
