Observation - Bibio lanigerus. Description: Small relative of the St. Mark's Fly. Front tibia short and swollen, with two spines, one longer than the other. Long pale hairs on thorax and abdomen. [Specimen taken and keyed out using Freeman and Lane] Very common today at edge of wodland.
