These images follow on from my post (“Small creature on laurel leaf” – 23/03/2012) on a Stigmella moth The mines were in the most shaded part of our Reserve, which is not surprising if the moth is considered in isolation, but brambles generally require a good deal of sunlight – so, the bramble microspecies here (identity not yet known) is one that appears to be adapted for (mainly) shaded conditions. I submitted images of it (“Bramble2 in a shaded location”) to iSpot on 17th June 2011.
