Lichen (k) Crustose lichen growing as a roughly circular patch on ash tree trunk. Grey-green thallus in middle with ‘crazy paving’ cracks. Outer edge of the circlur thallus is a whiter-grey (Perhaps thinner than middle or perhaps drier than middle). Random black spots with concave top surfaces (fruiting bodies?) on the thallus, no ‘jamtart’ borders around the black spots. Possibly Lecidella elaeochroma.
To the left in the images (clearest in image iii) are some black spots but with no clear associated grey thallus. Wonder if these are linked to lichen K or different lichen completely.
