Group of small brown mushrooms growing in wood chips in border with shrubs. Conical striate shiny hazel-brown caps slightly paler at centre, up to about 2 cm across. Drying to buff colour. Gills grey with white edges, maybe finely toothed along edges, some mottling (small black spots). Black spore print. Pale buff stems, no ring, up to about 8 cm long, downy at base with white fluffy roots, approx equal diameter of about 2 mm. Oval spores.
