Pale oyster mushroom

Observation - Pale oyster mushroom - UK and Ireland. Description: Growing on a dead fallen branch in a small deciduous copse at the base of the quarry. Cap: 4-5cm acr

Growing on a dead fallen branch in a small deciduous copse at the base of the quarry.
Cap: 4-5cm across. Smooth, white with fawn blushing. The skin did peel back (I do remember occasionally some things to check), but not sure how much peeling makes it a peeling oystering. Rim rolled under and undulating a little.
Gills: decurrent (I think that's right), same colour as the cap.
Stipe: none or very little that I could see.
I'm uncertain of the species but making a suggestion as it seems to fit, but would appreciate corrections.
