Elder - full house

Elder - full house

Observation - Elder - full house - UK and Ireland. Description: I have more time for the garden. Gradually I am cataloguing my trees and shrubs. I will make a map

I have more time for the garden. Gradually I am cataloguing my trees and shrubs. I will make a map for my successor - I hope they don't just rip it all out and plant roses.
.
Older trees look older, the common Elder are the oldest (the elders - get it?). These are quite wrinkled and blackbirds nest in them. The youngest are the cut-leaved. I cannot get the Elders to grow from cuttings but I can the younger - easily. Cut-leaved grows anywhere. The black cut-leaved has bunches of flower buds.
.
The garden and my fields are the saviour of the times. I am lucky but it's still a nuisance to be officially confined to quarters.

Scottish numbers: 23 May 2020
A total of 99,932 people in Scotland have been tested through NHS labs to date. Of these:
84,891 were confirmed negative
15,041 were positive
This will be an underestimate of the number of cases. Not everyone with the virus will display symptoms and not all those with symptoms will be tested.
Of the people who have tested positive:
3,540 inpatients have been discharged from hospital since 5 March 2020
841 were in hospital last night: 36 of whom were in intensive care, with another 14 with suspected COVID-19 in intensive care
2,261 have died

I am still self-isolating. No great hardship.
