.
I collected some of these yesterday - see https://www.ispotnature.org/communities/uk-and-ireland/view/observation/799961/
But I had a bad night's sleep knowing that I did not do them justice.
Dreams were about trochophores and chocolate
They are completely unaware of my difficulties and frustration related to the Corona 'restrictions'.
I crept back, collected some of the blobs, brought them home and did them. I need to return them to the sea tomorrow
These transparent jelly blobs contain strings of green eggs - the whole blob looks green. As yet we are not certain which specific worm lays them but there is a chance they might (only MIGHT) be the Spotted Leafworm Phyllodoce maculata or the Green-leaf Worm Eulalia viridis.
Each year at about this time, these mysterious blobs are reported in huge numbers.

A Long-spined sea scorpion Taurulus bubalis is beside one in Picture 4.
