This tiny fly with wonderfully netted wings was seen on Choisya in our garden.
I did a lot of research and decided that the wing markings are very much like Tephritis matricariae but are there any Diptera specialists who can confirm this.
It was only much later in the day that I realised that this is not one but a mating pair.
