It seems very late to spot this small wasp which normally flies June, July and August, rarely to September.
It was rather sleepy and found on my cap after working in the garden.
BWARS state that the 'v' shaped notch in the keel at the front of gastral tergite 1 is the diagnostic feature (best seen in photos 1 and 2) of Ancistrocerus parietum
Distinctive yellow stripes and covered all over in white hairs.
