I'd like to be able to write that there has been a huge surge of interest in seaweeds lately - but there hasn't.
Further, it would be nice to declare that my SeaWeed project is nearly full - it isn't, it's been going for years
And then I would like to be able to declare that more and more people are agreeing to seaweed posts - it would be a long way from the truth!!

There seems to be only four of us and we struggle on. It is very tempting to post only simple ones, like the large foreshore Wracks, Kelps and blades that catch seaside visitor's eyes, so as to perhaps generate more interest but that's not working either.
However, this is an easy one. No branches - just a straight cord; furry IN the water, smooth out. Easily tied into knots and hanks and appears to be growing from rock (or a shell) even when springing from the sand.
.
Com'on everyone, find a seaweed, shoot some pix, post it up.
