Was 'coupit' but seemed content when righted, scrambling off. Well disguised on the wood. Looking at resources on longhorn beetle ID, was a bit confused. Thought it was R. mordax with its two spots, but it's not at all yellow/brown, it's more like R. inquisitor (pine borer), described in a Buglife Scottish Longhorn Beetle Guide as found in Scotland. NBN, however, describes R. inquisitor as a synonym for R. mordax. This beetle has mottled camouflage, elytra looked somewhat ribbed. Hope to have some expert help here.
