Observation - Corallina - UK and Ireland. Description: Corallina attached to an empty limpet shell, bobbing about on the incoming tide. Dusky pink fronds t

Corallina attached to an empty limpet shell, bobbing about on the incoming tide. Dusky pink fronds turning white in the daylight from the bottom up. Unknown algae colouring some parts green. The calcified fronds are articulated and somewhat beautiful. The Corallina would have provided the limpet with camouflage; however, I don’t know if it’s weight might have contributed to the limpet’s death?
