Small mushrooms in permanent pasture with hawthorn (in hedgerow) and old orchard nearby. Tight, tufted habit. Caps smooth, a little domed/umbonate, mottled grey-brown and streaked towards the irregular, wavy margin. Flesh very thin. Gills moderately spaced, notched, pink but becoming light brown-pink with maturity (see last 2 pics of a specimen taken the following day). Stipe short, smooth, white, fibrous, more or less equal but tapering upwards slightly in some specimens. Smell faint, indistinct.
