The title will scare most people off but I am not deterred
That really is my thumbnail in picture 5, so the body is 4.5mm long
And the leaf really is a rust-infected Devil's-bit Scabious - see https://www.ispotnature.org/communities/uk-and-ireland/view/observation/770265/scabious-leaf-spot
I only saw one of these, so the results you see are from 22 photos taken with my Olymp Tough3 - I go nowhere outdoors without it
This is possibly Macrosiphum rosae but for such things, one neds to defer to real experts, so my pictures have gone off to Dr. Dransfield of http://influentialpoints.com/Gallery/Aphid_genera.htm he is always very gracious and helpful
So see http://influentialpoints.com/Gallery/Macrosiphum_rosae_Rose_aphid.htm
Nothing looks precisely like mine but note the upright and straight siphunculi (though not bent outwards) onwards then..
