Observation - Fungus under Beech trees - UK and Ireland. Description: Cap: 40-80m, smooth, dry, pale purple with cinnamon brown towards centre, convex. Stem: 40x17-22mm,

Cap: 40-80m, smooth, dry, pale purple with cinnamon brown towards centre, convex. Stem: 40x17-22mm, wider towards more bulbous base. Off-white at apex, streaked brown towards base. Flesh: White with pale purple flush particularly at base of stem. The purple colour faded after cutting.
Gills: Crowded, cinnamon brown with purple tint towards margin. Smell: Not detected.
Found in scattered clusters in leaf litter under Beech.
