Dog’s Mercury beginning to flower in main woodland area. Note singular, un-branched stems with opposite leaves which have a toothed or serrated edge. Photo 1 appears to show unopened male flower ‘buds which resemble triangular pyramids along the stalk/inflorescence (see Comments). A single male flower can be seen at the centre of Photo 4 showing stamens and anthers.
