Galls scattered across the surface are probably of Eriophyes laevis Picture 6 show a suspicion of the Blister Gall Taphrina tosquinetti but most of the galls that I found, displayed a tough pouch not

Usually, if not strictly, associated with a leaf vein. Galls scattered across the surface are probably of Eriophyes laevis
Picture 6 show a suspicion of the Blister Gall Taphrina tosquinetti but most of the galls that I found, displayed a tough pouch not dissimilar to the Nettle Leaf version see http://www.ispotnature.org/node/433377.
I could find no trace of the culprit.
It is also known (still) as Eriophyes inangulis
