Observation - Unussual cranefly behaviour - UK and Ireland. Description: A dead cranefly on willow leaf. It appears to have clung tightly to the leaf and held on with its mouth. This seemed unusual and made me wonder if it had something to do with parasites or a virus? There was a second one nearby on small grass in a similar

A dead cranefly on willow leaf. It appears to have clung tightly to the leaf and held on with its mouth. This seemed unusual and made me wonder if it had something to do with parasites or a virus? There was a second one nearby on small grass in a similar position. It does seem peculiar.
