there was a strong gale blowing when I took this photo from the shelter afforded by the side of a coach in the car park at Dungeness beach. Having difficulty in walking, I didn't dare to venture out from the shelter as there was quite a risk of being blown over, so I couldn't really attempt to identify the plants in the picture. I think I could make out sea holly and there was what appeared to be patches of sea kale growing the whole stretch of the beach to the sea. The plant I am reasonably sure about is Viper's Bugloss (a small patch of blue spikes in the front right of the photo), as this was growing in sheets of blue at other locations nearby (by which time my camera batteries were flat)
