When I first saw this tree it seemed to be a Honey Locust (Gleditsia triacanthos) from the pinnate leaves and seed pods. However, it turned out to be evergreen. Also, in early May, it had what I assumed were yellow flowers but on enlarging the photo I'm not sure. These were too high up to examine closely at the time. Any ideas?
In mid April 2012 this tree flowered much lower and so, in case anyone is still interested, I have added a close-up of the flowers.
