Low-growing scrambling plant observed along grassy path near Souter Lighthouse. Species had a single flower which was pink with white inner area. We did note that the stems are hairy and have red tendrils at the end. From research, we liked the description of “leaves that are like folded ovals spaced out opposite one another along the stems” - this is certainly evident from photo 2. We also note from other observations that there are several sub species but we are not there yet – all pointers very welcome.
