Nearly passed these by,thought it was sheep wool strands,but on closer inspection found that they were tiny silken cocoons covering the pupae there spun by the well fed larvae of the braconid wasp as they emerge from an egg implanted into the host by the female adult.They are beneficial parasites and certain ones are used as biological control on glasshouse crops
