Growing on edge of path through woodland. No willows to be seen (although according to the books this is normal). Cap 5cm, pale grey, convex, smooth, striate at margin, pale grey but darker at centre, slight umbo. Gills free, crowded, white. Stipe white, cylindrical, 60X8mm, fine white fibrils. Flesh white. No smell. Spore print browny pink (supposed to be pale pink which is a bit of a problem). Spores 8X6 microns, smooth, ellipsoid. So everything seems to fit with it being a Willow Shield except the spore colour - where have I gone wrong please?
