Observation - Common Inkcap - UK and Ireland. Description: Dense troop of small mushrooms (approx 3cm tall) on path at edge of field. Unable to identify if wood buried under soli. Cap bell-shaped, 1cm across, fawn fading to dirty white as dried, smooth. Remmants of veil visible hanging off end of cap. Gills white

Dense troop of small mushrooms (approx 3cm tall) on path at edge of field. Unable to identify if wood buried under soli. Cap bell-shaped, 1cm across, fawn fading to dirty white as dried, smooth. Remmants of veil visible hanging off end of cap. Gills white darkening to black, crowded, adnate. Stipe white, 2cm long, 3mm across, cylindrical, fibrose. No rings, milk or distinct smell. Spore print dark brown.
