Stretch spider

Stretch spider

Observation - Stretch spider - UK and Ireland. Description: A stretch spider with fly prey in a Barley field. With a largely dark sternum with a V shaped paler area along the midline visible in a crop, is it possible to ID this to species..?. I know that sternal pattern helps, but don't have a key to work from.

A stretch spider with fly prey in a Barley field. With a largely dark sternum with a V shaped paler area along the midline visible in a crop, is it possible to ID this to species..?. I know that sternal pattern helps, but don't have a key to work from. It seems to match a sternal view of T. elongata on this site http://www.edderkopper.net/Tetragnathidae.html exactly (unlike the all dark sternum of T. montana and T.pinicola) but there may be other species I haven't considered.
