There are now a few postings of this lovely and fairly easy to identify snail.
I believe this snail is very common across the UK but is not seen by many. I had not seen mini-snails for all my longish life, yet now, I see them everywhere I go. It is a question of knowing their relative smallness and LOOKING.
There are a few issues - the main one, as always, is being certain of ID because there are lookalikes for all and each of them. But, in many respects, Discus rotundatus is the easiest to ID.
