Hoverflies hovering and at rest

Hoverflies hovering and at rest

Observation - Hoverflies hovering and at rest. Description: The behaviour of these hoverflies was again consistent with some form of male interaction - as I have previously suggested for other species i.e. Episyrphus balteatus; a Melanostoma sp. (probably) and Myathropa florea. [cf. “Hoverfly in wooded area (1)”
