Observation - Male Green-veined Whites 'mud-puddling' - UK and Ireland. Description: These butterflies were on mud so it is assumed they were mud-puddling (taking in mud through the proboscis(?) for nutrients prior to mating. There were 100+ Green-veined Whites flying around the rush bed but not landing - an emergence?
