Apologies for the poor quality of these cameraphone pictures.
Distinctly grooved and slightly wavy margin to cap, which was greyish-brown in colour.
Gills are quite dark grey though no signs yet of deliquescing (that's not milk you can see on the full-sized image, it's dew, I think, caught in the flashlight).
If I remember correctly this was a solitary specimen, so is it unlikely to be C.disseminatus which is normally found in large clusters?
Therefore, possibly C.impatiens?
Or am I on the wrong track entirely with Coprinus?
