No more than a couple of centimetres across, these were attached to a rotting log (along with several bracket fungus). The caps were quite slimy, olive-brownish in colour and with inrolled edges, the gills were a pale yellow-orange shade, very crowded and leading to a felty, short stipe of a similar colour but with feint black scales. I've never seen these before and initially I thought they might be Oyster mushrooms, but they seem a pretty close match for the Panellus serotinus I've got in my Collins guide
