Dead slow worm

Dead slow worm

Observation - Dead slow worm - UK and Ireland. Description: Unfortunate that it's dead, but a little exciting as the species is not recorded in the BRERC data set for this 1 km square. It's on the edge of a cycle path, which would no doubt be an excellent basking location, apart from the obvious risk from cycles.

Can anyone tell me if I'm right in thinking that the size and colour indicate a juvenile?
