Observation - Black-and-yellow Longhorn Beetle - UK and Ireland. Description: Our first Longhorn beetle for the park, a large bright 25-30mm specimen on the bramble hedge in Downhills park. The larvae feed for 2-3 years in damp rotting wood, and the adults are regularly seen on flowers such as Hogweed, from may to september.
