I found masses of these purplish starfish with orange tipped legs and undersides at extreme low water on a spring tide in SE Scotland. Of the 2 Henricia species in the UK, this is most likely to be H. sanguinolenta based on their location, but oculata can't be ruled out, and I read they are inseparable visually.
