Observation - Dyers Mazegill? - UK and Ireland. Description: At the base of a tree stump in a mixed woodland, but mainly coniferous. About 30cm in diameter. I thought the underside were spines, but it has been suggested to me that they might be worn pores. Died back over the winter leaving a shrivelled mass - so no
