Small block planted introduced from America in the 1830's on of the largest fir's in the world.The stalks from the female cones can be seen on the second photo, third and forth show Red Squirrel has been having it's lunch as there are a few reds here.The bark is dull grey silvery and has blisters on it that when burst produce a very aromatic sap but very sticky too.
