For the record - these were the pics we took on the 17th, not knowing what we'd found. I thought at first that someone had dropped some seaweed on the path - then we found the plant under the Metalasia; Frankie went home and searched for a generic name .
According to Tony "last seen 1965 - see Red List link: 50 years is the official time according to IUCN rules for a declaration - if searched for, which this was, of extinct!"
