It is not often that you see two arthropods that interact with one tree species. Here, one can see the scale-insects (?) on one twig, and a morphological clump-like adaptation (or is it just more scale insects) with some ants on another twig. This tree occurred in a conservation corridor among commercial forestry plantations. Location is probably not 100% correct, as I selected it from memory.
