Mediterranean Mustard (Brassica tournefortii)

Mediterranean Mustard (Brassica tournefortii)

Observation - Mediterranean Mustard (Brassica tournefortii) - Southern Africa. Description:

NOTE: Comments on the seed pods helped with correct id.

I am not much of a mustard eater. But will dry some seeds as an experiment.
I don't like the taste of the roots, but these are edible.
Picking the most tender looking of the rough leaves, steamed, this is a useful green vegetable. Did not really taste like anything, which is good. Cooked longer than spinach in order to soften. Good in smoothies too.
Flowers are edible, raw or steamed.
