The tree have a rough bark and is about 4meters high. The leaves are a greyish green and are situated opposite each other on the twig. It feels like as if it is covered with a waxy layer.
The fruit are oval shaped. the skin of the fruit is bitter and cannot be consumed. The inside of the fruit looks like a guava with a layer of flesh and a mass of pips. I ate the fruit already and it tastes likes something between a pineapple and kiwifruit.
