Roughly 10mm round, blobby creatures of white with pink/maroon markings best described as a discarded wad of unevenly chewed gum with shelled-prawn colouration, plakked onto the tree branch. Crater-like top hole appears to be venting volcanic ash. Tiny white feelers protruding from the rim alert one to it being animal, not vegetable.
