Observation - Berzilia intermedia - Southern Africa. Description: Densely leafy shrub to 1.5 m, coppicing from a woody caudex. Leaves spreading, incurved above the middle. Flowers crowded in rounded axillary heads, c. 1 cm diam., at the branch tips, aggregated in corymbs, white, peduncles red, often swollen and fleshy.
