PROJECTS: an exciting new feature on iSpot

PROJECTS: an exciting new feature on iSpot - Southern Africa : To us in ZA projects are a really cool new feature. We are still trying to figure out when projects are community projects and when they are gobal projects, so meantime please look at two lists: Our community: http://www.ispotnature.org/communities/

To us in ZA projects are a really cool new feature.

We are still trying to figure out when projects are community projects and when they are gobal projects, so meantime please look at two lists:

Our community: http://www.ispotnature.org/communities/southern-africa/projects/latest
Global community: http://www.ispotnature.org/communities/global/projects/latest

To participate in a project you merely need to visit the area and make an observation and put it in iSpot. So if you have been to Table Mountain and put an observation in that area, iSpot will automatically put it into all the projects in that area - e.g. http://www.ispotnature.org/projects/cape-of-good-hope).

Making projects is extremely easy. At it simplist you
click Communities click Southern Africa
click Add a project
add a title
add either a filter or a map
save

That is ALL!!
You can then edit it and get all sophisticated: add pictures, a project description, species lists (under comments), history, instructions, discussions, and anything else you want. (remember to save).

Cool hey: open some of the projects to see what people are doing.

Instructions follow - but see: http://www.ispotnature.org/help-projects
