If there are issues, so far they are due to the upgrades to the site, not to do with our migration.

Very many thanks to the iSpot team for making the migration so smooth and efficient.

For those who have taken the migration fore granted, give a thought to all the background things. The most significant one in my opinion is that although the data have all moved to a new database, all the links in our old observations still work. So although the site has moved to new addresses, all our old urls still work. That is really kool!
The only url still to be fixed is http://www.ispot.org.za/ - that will be "pointed" to this site shortly, so that your old bookmarks will all work perfectly as well.

The site unleashes spectacular functionality which we never had before.

Note though that the Species Surfer and the Quiz are not yet connected. That is scheduled for early this week.

The site is running quite slowly: this will be addressed during the week.
The page - your personalizable page - http://www.ispotnature.org/your-ispot is particularly slow (lots of statistics to compile): I suggest until it is optimized that you rather start at
*(your changes) http://www.ispotnature.org/your-ispot/changes
* (the southern African home page) http://www.ispotnature.org/communities/southern-africa
